All-rounder Aamir Jamal shared his feelings after he was named in Pakistan's Test squad for the upcoming two-match series against Sri Lanka in their backyard next month.
Jamal took to Twitter to recall his journey. "I always wanted to play test cricket. It was a dream always and to make it true it required continuous hard work, dedication, focus and believe. Allhumdulliah, all praises to Allah so proud to be in the test squad. Need prayers," he wrote.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Saturday announced 16-member squad for two Tests against Sri Lanka.
Young Mohammad Hurraira and Aamer Jamal got their maiden Test call-up. Shaheen Shah Afridi returns to Test squad as Pakistan are all set to start the third cycle of the ICC World Test Championship next month in Sri Lanka.
